Dreams of Flight receives its world premiere performances during 2024 residencies with the Eugene Symphony (Feb. 1) and the Santa Rosa Symphony (March 23-25). The two orchestras, both led by conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong, jointly commissioned the new work as part of their ambitious First Symphony Project.

Lakeshore Chamber Music returns to the Hanifl Performing Arts Center in White Bear Lake, Minnesota for a trio concert on Feb. 18, 2024. Michael is joined onstage by Gabriel Campos Zamora (Principal Clarinet, Minnesota Orchestra) and Julia Harguindey (Principal Bassoon, Nashville Symphony and Santa Fe Opera) to present a varied program of Romanian repertoire, new music, and traditional classics.

Violinist Maria Ioudenitch, violist Haesue Lee, and cellist Jean Kim presented the world premiere of Two Fantasies with performances in Athens, Berlin, and Madrid.
