As a pianist, Djupstrom has performed across the United States and abroad in the UK, Canada, France, Spain, China, and Japan. He is particularly interested in chamber music and has presented concerts for the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Brooklyn Friends of Chamber Music, the British Library, and many other organizations. As a founding member of the Phoenix Trio, he presented regular concert tours during 2005-2008. Djupstrom studied piano at the University of Michigan, where his teachers included Katherine Collier, Sergio de los Cobos, and Lynne Bartholomew.
